Inside the Upholstered Cornice I had installed Pinch Pleated Drapes.

Three Swags across the top with two Jabots on each side of the treatment.

Than I mounted two side panels that frame the window in a nice way.

For privacy I used the Duette shades.

An elegant look that makes this dinning room feel warm and welcoming.

There is always the option to use a runner on the table from the same fabric, and place mats and napkins.

This is an Upholstered headboard with five inches shirred border around the three sides.
This headboard can be attached to the bed frame or can be placed behind the bed without screws.
It is possible to make a quilted bed spread from the same fabric and even window treatments such as Drapes, upholstered cornices, swags, roman shades etc.

Real Estate Blog - Window Treatment By Josh

ndow Treatment By Josh

This window treatment was a bit challenging.

The window was twenty two feet high and I was not allowed to bring a hydraulic scufold, because the floor would not support

the weight of the scaffold...

I started the installation from the top center to the side, and than continue the stationary panels.

On the windows I had installed Duette shades.

Wall Upholstery By Josh

This job was done in a catering hall in New York.

The walls were covered with one inch thick of sound absorbent panels.

Over the panels I had installed a half inch flame retardant Dacron padding.

The third step was to apply the fabric over the padding.

I finished the perimeter with double welt that was made from the same fabric.

Real Estate Blog - Balloon Shades By Josh

Balloon shades do add a special worm look to the window...

In this case we used a beautiful rich looking fabric that was warm looking and soft at the same time.

I gave it a five inch shirring on the top and stuffed the bottom with soft paper.

I installed it in a way that it will be easy to remove for cleaning.

Windows decorating

An upholstered cornice with stationary panels and a soft shade behind.
The face of the cornice was thirty inches and it was hard installing it because my arms were not as long as the cornice.
I had to use a very long screw driver.
Installing the stationary panels was even harder, i had to stretch my self to the limit.

Window treatment

An upholstered valance with stationary panels and tie backs. it was done in a girl's room.
I had to make a template to fit in a triangular ceiling.
The mounting of the whole treatment was a bit of a challenge.
I installed a board behind the upholstered cornice so, I can mount the panels inside it but, first I installed the upholstered cornice to the ceiling by using Angle brackets.

This is an upholstered headboard that was mounted on the wall.
The way it was made was by installing a horizontal 1 by 6
That was cut at 45 degrees on the back of the headboard and another 1 by 6 cut at 45 degrees that was mounted on the wall.
The headboard rest on top of the horizontal 1 by 6.
It is secure and very easy to remove.

The Swiss alps are an amazing place to visit.
There are many activities such as Biking, hiking, wild water rafting, skiing, gliding, site seeing, and more.
To get there you fly to Zurich and then you take a train to the town of Interleukin that is located between two lakes at the foot of the alps mountains.

This picture was taken in the summer on top
of the alps mountain.
The only way to get up there is by taking a train from the town of Interlaken.
The train climb the twelve thousand feet very slowly,
It takes about two hours to reach the top.
Along the way there are two stops for you to get off and to enjoy the view.
You will feel light headed so, be careful...

Cambodia

I am looking at this picture from Cambodia and wonder to my self what an amazing site...

First you see the poverty in the back round and then you look at the people who are riding the bikes.

What about the people you might ask?

Look how thin they look. they are riding bikes and they look fit.

I do not know exactly what kind of food they eat but, they must be doing something right.

We in the Western world are very well to do in comparison, but, the food we eat and the way we look is much worst then in

Cambodia.

How is it that most children in the U.S. are over weight?

Why aren't we active the way we should be?

What can we learn from one simple picture about the life we live?

How much stress do we have every day and how do we manage it?

How do we stay fit, and how do we bring some quality to our life?

Oops I got carried away so, please stay healthy and try not to worry about anything.
